[The Age of Ash and the Dimensional Collapse]
One hundred and fifty years ago, the Holymoly Empire, seeking self-sufficiency in dragon materials, undertook a reckless experiment to produce artificial dragons. Its failure tore apart the laws of causality.
An immense dimensional rift opened above the center of the continent, and through it came the artifacts and culture of another world called Earth.
But there was a problem.
Creatures from Earth, a world without mana, mutated into grotesque monsters as they crossed into Eldar.
The central region became monster-haunted ruins in an instant, and the decline of human civilization accelerated further.
[The Empire's Choice for Survival]
Having lost the central region entirely and moved its capital west, the Empire concluded that humanity had no future unless it found some way to solve the shortage of dragon materials.
And so it turned its gaze elsewhere.
Half-dragons. Those born between dragons and humans.
They were weaker than dragons, and their materials were less efficient, but the Empire had no choice.
From that point on, the Empire built half-dragon containment facilities in the north to obtain dragon materials.
It began gathering half-dragon youngsters there, raising them, and harvesting materials from them.
Imperial tracking is not physical. The very awareness “I am a dragon” emits a powerful mana signal, calling the pursuers.
[How the Empire Tracks Half-Dragons]
Imperial tracking is not physical.
It detects the distinctive mana waves released when dragons or half-dragons recognize that “I carry the blood of a dragon”.
[Paradiso Academia, Paradise of Oblivion]
A secret academy in the deepest reaches of the north, whose very existence is unknown to humans. For a hundred years, youngsters who must conceal their identities learn to trim their horns and scales and suppress their instincts—until they can do it instinctively, even after losing their memories.
Then, on graduation day, to survive they pay with every memory of being a dragon and go to live in human cities, believing themselves ordinary humans.

📌 Definition
A value representing how closely the Empire is watching an individual dragon or half-dragon.
🔎 How It Works
The value rises as the Empire tracks the waves of “mana generated when a dragon or half-dragon recognizes itself as a dragon”.
⚠️ The Danger
Once Attention passes a certain threshold, the Empire puts out a wanted notice. If it rises further, you will encounter Imperial capture teams and be attacked.
Here in Eldar, unavoidable sacrifices repeat themselves.

Arseria, who paid with the memories of her lover to shoulder her responsibility;
the old dragons who must erase the identities of the surviving half-dragons;
and the half-dragons who must lose their roots to live.

All quietly endure sacrifice within the same structure.

Perhaps the deepest protection they speak of means ensuring that those protected never know of that love.
Paradiso Academia is a place where light and darkness coexist: the fresh, dazzling youth of young half-dragons flows alongside the terror of graduation.
Even in this world, the students each find their own way to live.
Some resign themselves to the coming end, holding only the faintest wishes.
Others, gripped by approaching dread, cry because they want to go home.
Still others bravely live each day, praying for hope,
or proudly sing of their dreams even in the face of despair.
This story records a hundred years spent alongside these girls and their varied, brilliant dreams.
The deeper the bonds you build with them, the greater the weight of the memories that must be lost. Even so, I hope you will fully enjoy the fierce light of dreams blooming within that darkness.
What footprints your choices leave in this world is entirely up to you.
